Lorel began doing bodywork in 2005 with reiki and reflexology, then added massage therapy, and later incorporated person training. In Spring 2014, Lorel will also be certified to teach yoga, to be able to help people find balance, harmony and revitalize their mind, body and spirit on deeper levels than ever before. After years of research, education, exploration and hands-on work, Lorel started Revitalize Bodywork to care for people with a variety of conditions – from injured athletes and trauma survivors, to those with chronic pain or anxiety. Working with people of all ages, from infants to age 95, has given her a wealth of knowledge and education.
Lorel has had a strong interest in health, wellness, pain management and natural/alternative forms of healing since her childhood growing up in Flagstaff, AZ She has also been a competitive track and field, 5K, triathlon, bodybuilding and mixed martial arts athlete throughout her life.
Lorel specializes in deep tissue and sports massage, stretch therapy, structural bodywork, injury/trauma work, cranial-sacral therapy, and relaxing Swedish and Asian energy/Reiki sessions.
Additionally, Lorel is a local and national domestic violence, workplace violence and sexual assault keynote speaker or workshop facilitator for law enforcement, healthcare professionals, counselors, social services, corporations, legislature and government. Through this advocacy work, Lorel has been featured on ABC World News Tonight, in Redbook and Fortune magazines, and received Governor Napolitano’s 2004 Triumph Over Tragedy award.
